Election is ahead in Uttar Pradesh (UP) and political parties are ready to face off the electoral heat.
Legislative election is going to start from Friday. Major confronting parties are Congress, SP, BSP and BJP. While, no clear pre-election ally is still visible but there are few permuted possibilities.
This time, UP election has more then one implication to state-level and nation politics. And no way it’s going to be an easy fight for erstwhile Pahelwan(wrestler) Mr. Mulyam Singh Yadav. Two declared enemies are on Mulayam’s trail - Mayawati led BSP and Congress.
Rahul Gandhi, leader of generation next group in Congress, is on crusade to pull back the party’s image in the state. For days, he is trying to accumulate strength and infuse fresh blood into the UP Congress. After days of disappointing performance, congress is looking like a serious contender in the poll.
Mayawati, quite obviously, busy in opposing Mulayam’s SP, and flaunts most prominent claim on the power. She is the most declared and deadliest enemy for Mulayam Singh and his party-men.
Apart from congress and BSP, BJP (Bharatia Janta Party), too shouting its claim on the game. This is a chance for its central authority to prove their worth; especially for the party supreme Rajnath Singh. Party have arranged some pre-election coalitions like clubbing Kalyan Singh with this electoral venture as leader, alliance with Sone Lal Patel, prominent caste-leader.
With the backdrop of recently started scorching summer, Uttar Pradesh, the gangetic plain-land of India, is going to experience the hottest most electoral tussle and single majority seems difficult. A hung alternative, which is most prominent, will make way for various post-election alliances - prominent two political alliances could be BSP-BJP and BSP-Congress, depending on the seat allocation. Despite BSP’s association with Congress in central politics, if required alliance with BJP won’t be difficult one.
